I have to say that doing the Petals and Bones workshop was a great experience for me. I’ve been a slacker writer for many years but have never really shared much of my work in a group setting since high school (which tended to just be traumatic). Dani and Leilani do a great job of creating a safe and supportive environment while giving just enough stimulus to inspire some great writing sessions. I was continually surprised by not only what I wrote but by the inspiration I derived from the other participants. If you are interested in taking your writing to the next level or are just curious about doing some writing I would wholeheartedly recommend Petals and Bones.

Leilani and Dani’s ‘Petals and Bones’ workshop yielded just the right mix of invitation, information and inspiration for everyone’s writing voice to emerge. I write more often now, and value the array of resources offered by that skilled dynamic duo. Vivid, wacky, wise and spicy tales and tones of others still resonate within me. All who attended seemed eager to meet again for more, enlivened by words that had longed to be spoken and heard. I recommend this work to anyone wanting to free up their writing voice and go out on a whim with kindred inkers.
